# ERAS Headshot > ERAS Headshot is an independent AI headshot service and a free browser-based photo checker for residency applicants. ERAS Headshot is not affiliated with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), MyERAS, or the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). The paid service costs $19 USD for one order and generates 40 headshot options from 10 to 15 user photos. Generated files are exported as portrait JPEGs at 375 by 525 pixels, 150 DPI, and no more than 150 KB. The current AAMC guidance says the MyERAS photo must be JPG/JPEG or PNG, no larger than 150 KB, and should show the applicant's face centered in the middle of the photo. The AAMC does not currently publish 375 by 525 pixels, 2.5 by 3.5 inches, 150 DPI, or a neutral background as mandatory requirements on its public photo guidance page. ## Key pages - [Homepage and pricing](https://erasheadshot.com/): Product overview, process, $19 price, privacy summary, and support information. - [ERAS photo requirements](https://erasheadshot.com/guides/eras-photo-requirements): Current official AAMC rules separated from practical recommendations. - [What is an ERAS headshot?](https://erasheadshot.com/guides/what-are-eras-headshots): Definition, use, options, and examples. - [Free ERAS photo checker](https://erasheadshot.com/tools/eras-photo-checker): Local browser checks for format and file size, with no image upload. - [Machine-readable pricing](https://erasheadshot.com/pricing.md): Price, deliverables, requirements, and refund terms. - [Privacy policy](https://erasheadshot.com/privacy-policy): Data collection, processors, retention, and deletion rights. - [Terms of service](https://erasheadshot.com/terms-of-service): Purchase and refund terms. - [Official AAMC photo guidance](https://students-residents.aamc.org/applying-residencies-eras/publication-chapters/photo): Primary source for current MyERAS photo requirements. ## Contact Email: support@erasheadshot.com
