What photos do I need to upload?
Upload 10 to 15 clear, recent photos of only you. Include different angles and expressions, use even lighting, keep your face visible, and avoid filters, sunglasses, group photos, or repeated copies of the same image.
What are the current official MyERAS photo requirements?
AAMC currently says the file must be JPG/JPEG or PNG, no larger than 150 KB, with your face centered in the photo. AAMC advises applicants to verify any additional requirements with individual programs.
What file does ERAS Headshot deliver?
Each generated download is exported as a portrait JPEG at 375 by 525 pixels, 150 DPI, and no more than 150 KB. That is our consistent export format, not a claim that AAMC currently mandates those exact pixels or DPI.
How is my photo data used?
Your uploads are processed by our contracted cloud and AI providers only to fulfill your order. We do not use them for general model training or marketing without explicit consent. You may request deletion from your account email by contacting support@erasheadshot.com.
Who owns the generated headshots?
You retain rights to your uploaded photos and may use your generated headshots for your residency application, professional profiles, conferences, program websites, and other lawful professional purposes.
What if none of the photos is usable?
Contact support@erasheadshot.com within 14 days. We will first correct the export or regenerate the order. If we cannot resolve the issue, we will refund the purchase.
How long does generation take?
Most orders finish in about 7 to 10 minutes. Processing can take longer during busy periods, so start before your application deadline and do not wait until the final day.
How many photos will I receive?
A $19 order produces 40 headshot options. AI results vary, so review every image for likeness, natural facial details, and centered framing before choosing one for your application.
Can the free checker confirm that MyERAS will accept my photo?
The checker can confirm the file format and 150 KB limit locally in your browser. It cannot reliably judge whether your face is centered or guarantee acceptance by a third-party portal or residency program.
Is ERAS Headshot affiliated with AAMC or MyERAS?
No. ERAS Headshot is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AAMC, MyERAS, ECFMG, EFDO, or NRMP.

Private photo handling from upload to download

Your photos are used to fulfill your order through our contracted cloud and AI processing providers. They are not used to train a general model or for marketing without your explicit consent.

Request deletion anytime

Email support@erasheadshot.com from your account email to request deletion of your uploaded photos and generated headshots. We may verify account ownership before processing the request.

Your likeness remains yours. We use uploaded photos only to process your order and do not use them for general model training or marketing without explicit consent.

Encrypted transfer and private links

Images are transferred over HTTPS and new generated files are stored privately. Signed download links expire instead of exposing permanent public image URLs.

Purpose-limited storage

Order files are retained to provide the service and continued access to your results. Billing and account records may be retained when required for security, tax, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
